SanDisk has been selling storage upgrades for the iPhone for a while now under their iXpand brand. They haven’t been the most convenient things — basically the iPhone version of a USB OTG thumb drive. Desperate times call for desperate measures, and since Apple has never been keen on the idea of a micro SD slot iPhone users have had to make do with what’s available.
You could use one of SanDisks’ wireless Connect sticks , but they only last for so long on their internal battery. The iXpand Memory Case is about as elegant a solution as anyone will ever come up with. It’s like a much sleeker Mophie Space Pack, minus the battery. The iXpand case lets you add an extra 32GB, 64GB, or 128GB of storage. There’s a dedicated app that lets you easily manage your data and it does a few neat tricks like let you play tunes and build playlists from both your iPhone’s internal storage and the expansion pack.
