The Met Office accidentally issued a snow warning on the UK’s hottest day of the year.
Hot yesterday? It’s going to be even hotter today – and just wait until Sunday
As Britons sat in beer gardens enjoying 21C temperatures,
the forecaster was sending out an amber snow alert for London,
south-east England and south Wales.
The Met Office later blamed a ‘technical error’.
The snow alert, they said, was a test warning that accidentally went live on the website and mobile phone application.
